Having taken delivery of a new 580ex Mk2 I was not thrilled to find
that my 420ex of many a year cannot be controlled in manual mode via
the Canon control system.
Hence, this shot is based around the 580ex pointed at a small gold
(incredibly cheap £3 brolly) bounced aprox 1m from subject with a 31
year old sunpak autozoom 3000 flash gun for hair highlights. Also
using a Lastolite TriGrip reflector which appears to be bringing out a
little detail in the hair.
Triggering using a pc sync lead to the sunpak and a PT-04
trigger/receiver pair for the 580ex.
Shot ably taken by Emily. Especially impressive capture by Emily as
the subject was having a possible swine-flu related sneezing marathon.
Canon EOS 40D @ 1/60sec (fastest shutter speed usable with the Sunpak).
